THE GUEST ROOM / La chambre d'amisEvenings of cabaret Of diverse forms, in variable geometry A project by Christine Schaller assisted by Caterina Perazzi with, among others: Christine Schaller : singer-musician, actress, composer, writer. Caterina Perazzi : dancer, choreographer, director, actress, singer. Claire Gillet: double bass, player of little thingamajigs. Vincent Plazanet : guitarist, singer, juggler. Sylvestre Vergez: violist, photographer, conceptual artist. Maryline Guitton : singer, actress. The CONTENTS The proposal, in one part, is to invite artists of different views to present their creations, and, in another part, to provoke encounters between them. Songs, instrumentals, dances, sketches, readings, improvisations … The performances can take diverse forms, their commonality is that they’re projects of quality leaving the beaten paths. Our desire is to present a cabaret which, while being entertaining, is also an artistic and human exploration. In short, it is a festive and nourishing evening for the audience and artists. The FORM This cabaret will consist of several “numbers” played by various artists or groups of artists. A “Ring Leader”, Madame Loyal, will coordinate the evening. The PROJECT Currently in search of a place to open it’s guest room to us, we settle into the salon over a glass and confabulate art and whims among friends. |
