An original multi-talented artist, Christine Schaller has behind her a rich and beautiful career on international stages. Performing, she knew, over the years, put her voice and body at the service of artistic causes as noble as varied. But it is within the framework of her own creations that she reveals all the strength and originality of her artistic personality, inimitable and unclassifiable.

At the same time singer, musician and actress, she has notably worked in contemporary music with Luciano Berio, in jazz and improvised music with, GARRETT LIST, GIAN-LUIGI TROVESI and PAOLO RADON, and in theater, cinema, cabaret and sound poetry.

She toured for 6 years with 94 RWANDA, a show by JACQUES DELCUVELLERIE on the Rwandan genocide (Created for the AVIGNON FESTIVAL, and toured Europe, America and Rwanda), and more recently worked with a theater under the direction of Claude Merlin ("Manure" Saint Pol Roux, 2006-2008), and in the musical (Spirits of Garonne "2007-2008).

As an improviser, she regularly joined in musical and multidisciplinary projects. She participated in various electro-acoustic performances (CARMEN & Mr CAJ duet with C. JORDAN, 2005) and in creations with the COLLECTIF D’ANNECY.

She composes vocal and instrumental music and has written music for the stage. She has created many cabarets one of which is The Ear of Bacchus. She has been engaged as a professional soloist singer and within vocal ensembles interpreting works of 20th century composers. As a singer and / or pianist, she has performed with many jazz or improvised music groups and has founded several orchestras, with whom she has performed in concert and at international festivals.

She’s the author and composer of musical theatre book, lyrics and music, which were recorded or performed.

In KIMERA Christine wrote, created and performed the cabaret Au delà du Son, directed by Caterina Perazzi and composed the music for Temps perdu (Wasted time: kaleidoscope of impressions in verse for my man who went away), a musical and theatrical project of Caterina Perazzi.

She participated in the recording of many Cds from 33 tours, and including several of her own projects.
